Memorial's Planning Meeting Results

The Mission & Ministry Committee coordinated an
event to re-examine what Memorial's mission is. Pastor
Bob Riggert lead us. There were 8 groups of about 8-10
people. We came up with 7 answers to 7 questions. For
the results s on this event, click here. As members of
Memorial, your opinion matters! Join us in our efforts to
improve our ministry and community.
Service of Seed & Soil
May 18 at Brookside Park

Spring is finally arriving in Iowa. We look forward to the special
beauty that graces our State when the grass is verdant green, the
trees are leafing out, the flowers are blooming and you can row
the corn in the earth’s black soil. Our annual service of celebration
held at Brookside Park is at 10 AM the Sunday after Mother’s Day,
May 18. This service is especially for children. Singing songs the
children love and some of our favorite creation hymns. We give
flowers to the children to plant at home and we have a sermon for
the children. After the service, we will have bakery items
(homemade and/or bought at the store). We adults, enjoy a time of
fellowship, while the children play in the park. Join us again this
year as we celebrate the seed and soil.
SENIOR ACTIVITIES
Senior Breakfast at Perkins is the 1st &
3rd Wednesdays monthly. This month
Senior Breakfast will be at 8:30 AM on
Wednesday, May 7 & 21. Senior Lunch
or Dinner meets the 4th Thursday of
every month. Lunch this month will be at
11:30 AM May 15 at Hickory Park.
Join the Pinochle Party every 3rd Thursday of the
month, from 2-4 PM in the Student Center. Contact
Rollie & Willie Struss if you are interested in joining.
BIBLE STUDIES
Men's Bible Study meets
Thursdays at 1 PM in the
Cardinal Room.
Women's Bible Break meets
Wednesdays at 10 AM in the
Cardinal Room.
